I always find it fascinating hearing about how / where people bought their collection pieces when they were younger.<br /><br />I do agree with you that these ko's had a nice quality feel to them. I've said numerous times before that while some people despise ko's, I feel that some are made better, or have made better modifications to them than the originals had.<br /><br />Good luck in recreating your collection. I had these when I was a kid. I got the...Very nice. I had these when I was a kid. I got them at a jewelry store that happened to sell toys also in San Francisco's Chinatown. The figures are pretty good quality. I happened to pick up 2 loose and 1 boxed on ebay over the years. Still looking to recreate my childhood set.
