Overpriced Flea Market G1 Transformer Finds

  1. I really enjoyed this post, it is so interesting to see what sellers will try to get away with. You can pretty much guarantee everything past those first three (Superion, Magnus and Metroplex) were KO's. The minibots are easy to spot because their punch holes are centered on the cards, the originals were not.

    1. Thanks for checking it out and for the tip about the centered punch holes on the reproduction minibot cards. We read your comment on our episode #55 of the podcast. We know people will appreciate your tip for easily spotting these repro figures.

  2. Thank you for doing this video. I have been interested in trying to pick up some MIB/MOSC or MISB G1 figures lately. But, I am always slightly afraid of grabbing one that is a KO like this Grimlock where someone could have kicked it a few times and said that it is due to age/wear. I did not know about the Bommander thing, so that is very helpful. In the future if you were to do a video about the ways to spot a KO, that would be really helpful to a nube like myself.

    1. Thanks for watching, Derek. That's a great suggestion and possibly an idea that we can explore in the future. I wish there was something like that when I got back into collecting a number of years ago.
