What's Currently on My Shelves

I haven't been in my new house for very long.....one month and 11 days as of this writing.....and it has taken me that long to get my one personal room looking even somewhat respectable.  I've limited myself to just having two shelves to display my Transformers because as awesome as I've seen and drooled at people's postings of their full collections on display, I feel that for me personally, less is more.

LESS IS MORE

Aside from what you see above, I have room for my beer fridge, three other bookshelves for my books as I'm an avid reader, my guitar and my desk from which we have now started to record our "Transformers & Beer" podcast.  All my remaining Transformers are in storage bins placed throughout a few rooms in the house out of sight.

In my opinion I don't feel that what I have on display is anything jaw-dropping, but that's okay,  For now, I will leave it as is and then when I get tired of it, I'll swap things out on a rotational basis.

  1. That's a pretty impressive boxed collection. Are you ever tempted to pop them open?

  2. Thanks for checking the posting out and for the compliment....even though I don't feel that it's very impressive. That's probably because Im always comparing it to other collections that I see. I guess I'm just pretty critical of myself.

To answer your question, "Yes!! I would love to open up everything and actually get some physical enjoyment out of my toys instead of just staring at them....but I've always been like this ever since I was a little kid. If I could afford it, I'm sure that I would have two of everything that way one was just for looking at and one would be just to play with.....of course I'm sure that I wouldn't really touch the one I was supposed to play with so I would need up buying a third one and then "that" would be the one I could play with..........my wife tells me I have "issues".

    1. My wife says the same thing! Having two of each figure is the dream. Maybe one for each mode...
