So with the wife out for some doctor appointments I was left at home to watch my daughter by myself…..pretty boring since the conversation at this point seems to be all one way…she is only 8 weeks old after all.  Perfect opportunity to get out and see what's doing at one of my local TRU's.

Feels Like a Masterpiece of A Storm Is Coming ......Maybe An Acid Storm ?

Looks like I should be receiving Masterpiece Acid Storm sometime today.  I'll keep you guys posted.  I do hope that this will be the last MP made with this mold.  I have watched a few reviews on it and one guy felt that there may be some degradation with it but that may just be his opinion.

I think most people that are into the MP line would love to see the coneheads and I'm sure that since they can get three figures out of it they'll pump it out somehow.

It seems that the Masterpiece figures are the new bread and butter winners for Hasbro; Transformers wise anyway.

Barring an un-forseen delivery mishaps, I will do a unboxing shoot today or tomorrow.

TRU Shelves

My Local TRU Display

I was out yesterday running some errands and decided to check out my local Toys R Us.  This was my first visit in quite some time since my friend "M" and I have both managed to secure ourselves the Hasbro MP Soundwave and MP Acid Storm (but I'll talk about those two aquisitions when they arrive in the near future).  Let me tell you, the amount of gas, time and frustration that I'm saving myself is like a breath of fresh air.
